COSMO POWERTECH PVT LTD is dedicated to the research, development, and commercialization of technologies & products in the domain of renewable energy, energy conservation, environmental protection, and substitution of petroleum-derived fuels.
The company believes that biomass (including wastes) and coal play an important role in the energy mix. Therefore, the company's major focus is the development & commercialization of clean, efficient & convenient conversion technologies for biomass, coal, and waste materials to produce energy carriers and sustainable materials, as well as their utilization.
We put in continuous efforts towards the introduction of developed technologies to new applications. We also undertake application-oriented development & testing to meet the specific needs of our customers.
We value our partnerships with both research institutions and user industries. First demonstration projects for many new applications as well as need-based technology development activities have been undertaken with such partnerships.
All our products & technologies: simple biomass commercial cook stoves, large industrial-scale gasification facilities, combustion systems with regenerative burners and waste-to-energy technologies, are expected to pave the way for a more sustainable energy future.
Over the decades, COSMO has built a formidable expertise in the gasification of solid fuels to meet industrial heating applications, with the primary objective of reducing the heating costs by substituting petroleum-derived fuels with gas from low-cost solid fuels. Our biomass gasifiers offer a techno-economically feasible option for decarbonizing high-temperature industrial heating applications.
Efficient combustion is one of the prominent pathways to control emissions. Our commercial-biomass-cook-stoves are substituting LPG in hotels & restaurants across India. Our regenerative burners offer the opportunity to reduce the carbon footprint of industrial combustion systems.
The current R&D efforts related to pyrolysis are directed towards technology development for producing renewable carbon and higher-value energy carriers (including hydrogen) from biomass.
With a proven record of hundreds of successful installations across India, we are experts in crafting customized solutions for client’s unique project needs. Our flexible approach ranges from basic design and critical equipment supply to fully integrated turnkey solutions, including conceptualization, sizing, plant layout, detailed engineering, on-site erection & commissioning, post-commissioning hand-holding, and long-term O&M contracts. Beyond successful implementation, long-term post-commissioning support ensures optimal equipment performance.
Our in-house manufacturing & service capabilities, along with a reliable vendor network, deliver optimal solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
